In The name of God. And peace be upon our prophet Mohammed. College of engineering in Qassim university was established in 2004 and I have the honorty that I am the founder of this college. Vision, Mission, values and strategic goals were planned through a professional strategic plan.
Our college has many advantages. Many external visitors visited our labs and wrote that these labs are state of art. I should mention this to thank our government for its generosity. Also, I should  mention that there is an effective communication between the administrations of the university and the college. This, of course, solved many difficulties in very easy way.  There is also very nice relationship between the students and the administration of the college starts from their enrolment until they graduate. This created a nice environment in the college during their study and after their graduation. College of engineering has three departments: civil, mechanical and electrical engineering. This small number of departments made it very easy to be managed effectively.  Curriculum of the programs in these department were designed according to the quality standards and to the need of the market, we made sure that the students should be strong in the basic science courses. Also, the students should get the soft skills through the active learning method. Co-op training for seven months period was a good chance for students to practice in the field.  And before student graduates , he has to make senior project design. Co-op and senior project design were built in a very professional way according to the quality standards.

The previous advantages after the will of God made it very easy for all of the programs in the college to be accredited by ABET which happened in August 2010.

The college will also continue with Excellency in many research areas  such as solar energy engineering, wind energy engineering, manufacturing engineering, construction engineering, communication engineering, power system engineering, and conventional energy engineering.

At the end, I would pray Allah and thank our king Abdullah, Prince Sultan, and prince Naif, our minister and his prim minister, our president and his assistances, and to thank all of the great staff in my college for their sharing us in this successful road.
